Summary

The candidate will work under supervision to learn about the Government-Industry Data Exchange Program (GIDEP) and provide support to its customer base.

Requirements

  • Ability to research and process information, assemble data through interrogation/navigation of internet based information systems using various search engines
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing and work with others as a team member
  • Ability to maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude in an environment that requires teamwork, efficiency, cross-training
  • Must have 2+ years’ experience in Microsoft Suite of applications - including Excel and Word
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must possess an active DoD issued Secret Clearance OR the ability to reactivate a DoD Clearance held within the last 24 months OR a current Interim Clearance

Responsibilities

  • Answer help desk phones for assigned account(s) and respond to inquiries to ensure customer needs are met
  • Identify customer needs and resolve issues based on applicable policies and procedures
  • Assist in resolving technical problems on an account by providing guidance regarding hardware and software problems
  • Respond to inquiries submitted via email
  • Maintain and update records and the GIDEP tracking database
  • Process membership applications
  • Access Government sites to vet membership applicants

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of Diminishing Manufacturing Sources & Material Shortages (DMSMS), Engineering, metrology, product information, and reliability & maintainability (R&M) information

Benefits

The compensation range for this position: $18.09 - $20.00 an hour
