The job is for a History Tutor at TPAPT who will provide remote tutoring to students in grades 9-12. The tutor will design customized lesson plans, administer practice exams, collaborate with families, maintain accurate records, and work independently and remotely.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Demonstrable teaching or tutoring ability (3+ years) relating to the academic subject(s) and grade levels listed in the job post
• Strong interpersonal and clear communication skills
• Ability to develop customized lesson plans for individual students
• Flexible schedule, able to work evenings and weekends as required
• Ability to work independently and remotely, as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide remote tutoring sessions
• Design and execute customized lesson plans for individual students
• Administer practice exams and evaluate student progress
• Collaborate with students' families to keep them apprised of student progress
• Maintain accurate records of session details, scores, and student progress
