Summary

The job is for an Identity and Access Management (IAM) Solutions Architect at IDMWORKS, a pioneer in remote work with teams across the US, Canada, and India. The role involves providing IAM solutions to clients, leading architecture design, capacity planning, and troubleshooting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in an IT-related field
  • IAM Technology-specific training/certification a plus
  • CISSP Certification a plus
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with the following IAM components: Identity Governance & Administration, Access Management, SSO/Federation, Privileged Access Management, Enterprise Directories
  • 3+ year of experience with IAM implementation/architecture
  • 3+ year of experience in security consulting, security administration, and/or information technology
  • Knowledge of Java, C#, or similar object-oriented programming language
  • Knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, etc.)
  • Knowledge of enterprise directories (LDAP, Active Directory, etc.)
  • Knowledge of enterprise systems (SAP, PeopleSoft, Workday, ServiceNow)
  • Experience setting up and installing software on Windows and Unix platforms
  • Experience with the following web technologies (XML, SPML/SOAP, Web Services, etc.)
  • Experience with web application servers (Tomcat, WebSphere, WebLogic, JBOSS, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Engage in requirements gathering, analyze business processes, and provide recommendations and solutions to clients
  • Lead architecture and design new IAM solutions
  • Lead capacity planning, logical and physical architecture design, hardware requirements definition, availability and continuity discussions
  • Lead IAM technology assessments and health checks
  • Assist in communicating IAM program strategy and success to executive management
  • Installation, Integration, Configuration, and Deployment of IAM solutions
  • Develop and perform testing for IAM solutions
  • Provide knowledge transfer, training, and support as necessary
  • Maintain multiple environments following coding best practices and SDLC
  • Troubleshoot and maintain IAM solutions including product support
  • Remain current on IAM and IAM market trends, tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Communicate status including timely reporting and escalation of issues and risks
  • Possess excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team settings and multi-task environment
  • Author technical documentation
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Role Based Access Control (RBAC)
  • Familiarity with security/compliance standards, frameworks, and concepts (NIST, SOX, GDPR, Zero trust, etc.)
