Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as an IAM Security Engineer or any related role
- Strong hands-on experience working with Okta
- Strong hands-on experience working with AWS IAM: Demonstrated proficiency in designing, implementing, and managing Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions within AWS
- Strong experience working with IaC tools (e.g. Terraform)
- Strong experience in automation with any scripting language like Bash, Python, Perl, etc
- Strong experience working with Security frameworks, preferably focused on Cloud
- Strong knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols such as SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, LDAP, etc
- Familiarity with security standards and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, ISO27001, NIST)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex IAM issues
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams to implement IAM strategies and solutions
- Ability to work autonomously, taking initiative and ownership of projects with minimal supervision, while being accountable and self-driven
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage IAM solutions to ensure secure and efficient access to technology resources
- Develop and enforce IAM policies and procedures to maintain compliance with security standards and regulations
- Perform regular audits and assessments of IAM systems to identify and address potential vulnerabilities and risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IAM solutions with existing applications and infrastructure
- Automate and streamline IAM processes using scripting and programming languages to improve efficiency and reduce manual efforts
- Monitor and manage user access and privileges, ensuring appropriate access levels are maintained and unauthorized access is prevented
- Provide technical support and expertise for IAM-related issues, troubleshooting and resolving complex problems as they arise
- Stay up-to-date with the latest IAM trends and technologies, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance security and user experience
