Summary
Join a leading global retail organization as an Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) Architect. This remote, full-time contract position (6 months + extension) based in the Netherlands requires occasional travel to Zaandam. You will design and implement secure IGA solutions, collaborating with various teams. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in IGA, particularly external user management and HR transformation projects, and expertise with tools like SailPoint and Saviynt. Responsibilities include solution architecture, technical leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and vendor engagement. The role demands strong technical and communication skills, along with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelorโs or Masterโs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- Have minimum 5 years of experience in Identity and Access Management, specifically in IGA solutions
- Possess hands-on experience with SailPoint, Saviynt, or other mainstream IGA tools
- Demonstrate proven expertise in External User Management and HR transformation projects
- Have a strong understanding of IAM and IGA architecture principles, including identity lifecycle, role-based access control, and policy management
- Possess solid knowledge of RFI/RFP processes and vendor management
- Be fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Demonstrate strong technical leadership and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Have the ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
Responsibilities
- Develop and define IGA solution architectures based on business requirements, industry best practices, and security standards
- Collaborate with business, IT security, and procurement teams to ensure seamless integration of IGA systems with existing enterprise architecture
- Design workflows, provisioning processes, and identity lifecycle management for internal and external users
- Lead the selection, configuration, and deployment of mainstream IGA tools (e.g., SailPoint, Saviynt)
- Implement IGA processes to support external user onboarding and offboarding while ensuring compliance with HR transformation needs
- Work closely with HR, IT, and security teams to align identity governance strategies with business and regulatory requirements
- Support the IAM transformation office by providing subject matter expertise in IGA systems and external user access management
- Act as the primary technical liaison with IGA solution vendors
- Evaluate vendor proposals during RFI/RFP phases and provide technical assessments
- Ensure deliverables meet quality, security, and performance expectations
