Summary

Join Dane Street's team as a Quality Analyst and manage various aspects of the medical file review process. You will review completed referrals, ensuring client questions are addressed and reports are accurate, adhering to client and department standards. Responsibilities include quality audits, communication with clients and physicians, and other assigned duties. An Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred, along with healthcare/insurance experience and strong communication and critical thinking skills. The role requires computer literacy and involves long periods of sitting and computer work. Requirements

  • Possess exceptional communication skills with a clear understanding of company business lines
  • Apply critical thinking, manage time efficiently and meet specific deadlines
  • Demonstrate computer literacy and typing skills
  • Supply and support your own internet services
  • Maintain an uninterrupted internet connection

Responsibilities

  • Review reports accompanying medical records to ensure that the report is complete and that all questions posed by the client have been addressed
  • Follow up with the reviewer with any additional questions or clarifications needs
  • Follow up with the client should there be any additional questions
  • Update clients frequently on referral progress
  • Ensure the report is grammatically correct with no spelling errors
  • Ensure each referral adheres to the QA checklist prior to the completion
  • Format reports for approval
  • Communicate clearly and concisely between the customer, reviewer, and Operations team
  • Confidently speak with physicians and clients regarding the content of their peer reviews
  • Perform other duties & special projects, as assigned and based on business needs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Possess an Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree
  • Have business experience in a healthcare and/or insurance setting
  • Have experience working with technology-based processes within the business environment
