Summary

The job is for an Information Assurance Engineer in the greater Washington, DC area offering telework and remote support. The position involves managing technical teams, conducting security test procedures, risk assessment, continuous monitoring, and maintaining POA&M. A Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience, U.S citizenship, active secret clearance, and DHS Suitability are required. Preferred cybersecurity certifications include CISM, CompTIA Security+, or CISSP.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of eight (8) years of prior relevant experience
• Must be a U.S Citizen with an active secret clearance and the ability to obtain/maintain a DHS Suitability

Responsibilities

• Manages and leads the technical or compliance teams and provides technical oversight
• Plans, develops, executes, and documents results of security test procedures
• Conducts Application Risk Assessment
• Performs Continuous Monitoring
• Maintains and updates the Plan of Action and Milestone (POA&M)

Preferred Qualifications

Applicable cybersecurity certifications like Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), CompTIA Security+, or CISSP
