Information Security Administrator

Summary

Join Persado's InfoSec team in Greece as an Information Security Administrator! You will support the company's Information Security Program, investigating security alerts, performing audits, overseeing penetration tests, and ensuring compliance with security best practices. This role involves assessing new technologies, executing daily security tasks, supporting external requests and vendor assessments, and contributing to policy updates and risk assessments. You will need a university degree in a relevant field, over two years of experience in information security, and a strong technical background. Requirements

• University Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related fields
• Over 2 years of experience in the Information Security field
• Strong technical background and understanding of technology and IT industry, standards, current trends, and best practices
• Experience in operating systems, scripting languages, databases, and infrastructure, including Windows and Linux servers, network administration, and cloud environments
• Knowledge of security threats, techniques, and mitigation strategies across computing platforms
• Fluency in English

Responsibilities

• Investigate security alerts using the SIEM and other security tools
• Perform security audits and analyze system logs to identify potential policy violations
• Oversee penetration tests, vulnerability scans and monitor remediation efforts
• Review security system configurations to ensure compliance with security best practices
• Assess integration of new technologies and applications within Persado to ensure compliance with security policies
• Execute daily security tasks that contribute to the maintenance and acquisition of security certificates
• Support external information security requests, including security questionnaires and client audits
• Support vendor security assessments to ensure compliance with organizational and security standards
• Support the evaluation of security solutions
• Update, document, and implement security policies
• Support Information Security Risk Assessments
• Assist in the implementation and operation of various security controls

Preferred Qualifications

• M.Sc. in Information Security or related fields
• Hands-on experience in ISO 27001 or SOC 2 Type II environments
• Security-related certifications (i.e., ISO 27001:2013 LA, ISACA’s CISA, (ISC)2 CISSP, etc.)
• Able to take ownership of tasks and work as a team member
• Able to hit tight deadlines with strict attention to detail
• Can-do attitude – Able to plan and deliver demanding Security & IT projects
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
