Reporting to the ISO and DPO, you will ensure compliance with frameworks like ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR. You will need a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 2-4 years of relevant experience, and familiarity with various compliance frameworks and security technologies. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Advanced English proficiency
- 2–4 years of experience in information security, compliance, or related roles
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks like ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST 800-53, GDPR, and LGPD
- Experience with vulnerability management tools and practices
- Knowledge of security technologies, including SSO, MFA, MDM, etc
- Strong analytical skills, particularly in log analysis and configuration management
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams across multiple organizations
Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting security and privacy audits for frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type II, NIST 800-53, GDPR, LGPD, and others
- Collaborate with the ISO and DPO to address audit findings, implement corrective actions, and maintain certification readiness
- Aggregate and analyze compliance-related data from various systems and departments
- Identify, aggregate, and analyze vulnerabilities across diverse environments
- Prioritize remediation efforts and collaborate with IT teams to resolve issues
- Track and report on vulnerability trends and statuses
- Support IT teams in securing the organization using tools and practices such as SSO, MFA, MDM, and endpoint security solutions
- Perform log analysis and assist with configuration management to enhance security visibility and control
- Develop and deliver security awareness and training programs for employees
- Collaborate with teams across four distinct companies within Symplicity to align security and privacy efforts, despite differences in technology stacks and cloud providers
- Coordinate cross-functional projects to ensure consistent compliance with security policies and procedures
- Support security and compliance-related projects, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met
- Drive collaboration across teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes
Preferred Qualifications
- Project management experience or certifications (e.g., PMP, CAPM)
- Experience in environments utilizing multiple cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, OCI)
