Information Security Architect

As an Information Security Architect Intern, you will assist in designing, evaluating, and enhancing the organization's security architecture, protecting systems and data from threats. You will also contribute to threat modeling, security assessments, and risk analysis, while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• To be currently finishing your degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Information Security, Cybersecurity or a related technical field
• Foundational knowledge of network and system architecture, security principles, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Familiarity with identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and secure coding practices
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English
• To be willing to learn from a multi-disciplinary and multicultural team

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, evaluating, and enhancing the organization's security architecture, helping protect systems and data from internal and external threats
• Assist in evaluating and documenting the current security architecture across systems, networks, and applications
• Contribute to threat modeling, security assessments, and risk analysis for proposed IT solutions
• Research security standards, best practices, and compliance requirements (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, etc.)
• Support the development and implementation of security controls and tools
• Participate in the creation of security reference architectures and documentation
• Help identify security gaps and provide recommendations to strengthen system designs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including infrastructure, DevSecOps, and application developers
