Information Security Solution Architect

Summary

rockITdata is seeking a Solution Architect of Information Security to lead their Cyber Security consulting practice. This role involves business development, team management, and client engagement with a focus on providing high-quality security services to meet client needs.

Requirements

• Extensive cybersecurity domain expertise and experience leading consulting teams
• Bachelor’s degree with a concentration ideally in Computer Science or Information Systems
• 5+ years of technical hands-on experience, leading, developing or implementing best in class Cyber Security software solutions
• 5+ years of sales engineer experience, with a proven track record of either expanding the services footprint for their employer or obtaining net new business
• Experience in the Federal sector is required
• A TRUE leader, with the ability to grow, help others around them grow, and grow rockITdata’s business
• Extensive knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO, etc.), practices, and technologies
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, or related field
• Industry certifications (CISSP, CISM, CRISC, etc.)
• Previous experience at a global consulting firm or professional services organization
• Technical depth in areas like cloud security, application security, data protection
• Expertise in multiple domains (e.g. healthcare, pharma/biotech, government, etc.)

Benefits

• The base salary for this position is $175,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications
