Infrastructure Engineer

Summary

The Infrastructure Engineer at ERP Suites will provide support for IT infrastructure incidents and service requests, implement and enforce security best practices, work closely with development and operations teams, and create comprehensive documentation. The position is open to remote workers, but occasional travel may be required. The ideal candidate should have a relevant degree, mastery of AWS or OCI, experience with data protection and disaster recovery, knowledge of industry-standard hypervisors, familiarity with specific tools, and at least 10 years of experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Master's degree is a plus)
• Mastery of AWS or OCI support and design, with strong disaster recovery skills
• Experience with data protection and disaster recovery
• Knowledge of industry-standard hypervisors (certification is a plus)
• Familiarity with Ansible, Chef, Puppet, CloudFormation, AWS IAM, AWS ELB, Veeam
• 10+ years of experience preferred
• Comfortable with VMware in various configurations and versions
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide support for incidents and service requests related to IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, data protection, and virtualization
• Deploy, configure, and maintain cloud infrastructure components, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability
• Implement and enforce security best practices in the cloud environment
• Work closely with development and operations teams for seamless integration of applications and services

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree
• Certification in industry-standard hypervisors
