Summary
Join AbbVie as an Insider Risk Security Engineer and safeguard sensitive information and assets. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and administering Insider Risk Program technologies, including DLP, UBA, UAM, SIEM, and SOAR. This position offers the flexibility of working virtually anywhere in the U.S. Responsibilities include designing and deploying security technologies, troubleshooting operational issues, and collaborating with data security consultants. The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with relevant experience in data security engineering and insider threat analysis. Requirements
- Bachelors Degree with 6 years experience OR Masters Degree with 5 years experience OR PhD with 0 years of experience
- Minimum 2+ years experience as an Insider Threat / Risk Engineer or Analyst
- Must have experience with Data Security Engineering within an enterprise architecture
- Experience with encryption products and solutions
- Experience with MS 365 Security Solutions and Cloud
- Ability to analyze and understand technical information
- Understanding of data query tools and techniques (SQL, Splunk, SIEM, etc)
- Ability to successfully interact with non-technical business contacts
- Familiarity with data security classification concepts and processes
- Experienced in a wide variety of technical solutions focused on data protection and cyber security
- Experience with data loss prevention, encryption, document labeling and/or data discovery products
Responsibilities
- Design, deployment, configuration and administration of endpoint, network and SaaS based DLP technologies
- Utilization of UBA concepts to enhance response team productivity and capability
- Deployment and administration of UAM system to improve data telemetry
- Research and develop new insider risk-based alerts within SIEM
- Troubleshoot and Support operational issues associated with Data Security and Insider Risk technologies and processes
- Support Data Security Consulting on translating business requests to protect sensitive data into practical technical solutions and configurations
- Evaluating and testing new technologies
- Analyze, Develop, and Report on technical variances based on Insider Risk health monitoring processes
- Produce and maintain technical documentation associated with assignments to enhance the overall knowledge of Insider Risk tea
