Insights Associate

Summary

Join YipitData's Insights team as an Insights Associate and contribute to a rapidly growing company. Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Data Product teams to deliver data-driven insights to prospective clients. Leverage secondary research and work with the Sales team to identify key client pain points and provide actionable analysis. Consult with prospective clients to uncover business opportunities and guide decision-making. Gain experience in go-to-market functions, identifying new opportunities, and working with Marketing to execute strategies. This remote-friendly role offers the chance to enhance data analysis skills, gain executive exposure, and make a meaningful impact. The ideal candidate possesses 1-3 years of experience in business analytics or consulting and a talent for data-driven storytelling.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver meaningful insights to prospective clients
• Dive into secondary research (industry publications, public earnings, research reports) and work with the Sales team to isolate key pain points for prospective clients, and deliver actionable analysis to address those issues
• Consult with the prospective client to uncover business opportunities and provide actionable insights that guide decision-making
• Walk through our capabilities, and identify areas where our data can help
• Gain skills in identifying new opportunities, sizing up potential impact, and working closely with Marketing to establish and execute a go-to-market strategy

Preferred Qualifications

• A passion for data analysis; SQL and/or Python experience is preferred, not required, but a willingness to learn is highly valued
• Experience in collaborating with brand manufacturers and/or retailers and an understanding of their business needs is preferred
