Summary

The job is for an Inspections Enablement Specialist who will train customers on the use of drones and robots to collect solar farm data. The position requires a current FAA Part 107 certificate, excellent communication skills, strong time management skills, ability to travel up to 75% of the time, a bachelor's degree, and 1-3 years of work experience in project management, operations, maintenance, field training, or similar.

  • Must be authorized to work in the US

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain inspection SOP documents across inspection technologies
  • Design and lead unmanned aerial system (UAS) flight trainings for customers
  • Serve as data collection subject matter expert to support Operations inquiries and priority calls with customers
  • Conduct inspections as needed to support R&D and customer needs
  • Act as resident expert on all deployed inspection technology
  • Train customers in the field on drone flight planning and operations, autonomous robot mission planning and operations, and web and mobile applications
  • Tailor content to each customer’s use case and experience
  • Document training outcomes clearly to enable future Sales conversations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience flying high-quality inspections that meet Raptor Maps standards
  • Experience with capturing and interpreting thermal aerial imagery( thermography)
  • Experience using project management systems (Airtable, Asana, Monday.com , Smartsheets, etc.)
  • Prior work or research experience in solar operations and maintenance, field technician work, or other related solar PV experience
  • Familiarity with SQL or other data querying language
  • Prior startup experience
