Insurance Claims Administrator

Responsibilities

• Review all claims submissions
• Ensure all relevant documentation is gathered and filed correctly
• Liaise with key stakeholders where further information is required
• Assess the claim against the policy wording and processes, to make a determination on cover
• Communicate the outcome of a claim with the customer, and keep customers up to date throughout the claims journey
• Work alongside our panel solicitors where a claim can’t be resolved by mediation to recover possession of the rental property and any monies outstanding from the Tenant
• Support the Senior Claims Facilitator with Rent Protection payment requests
• Provide clear and factual information in line with our policy wordings and processes
• Respond to inbound queries from our internal and external customers
• Support our in-house mediation process
• Speak with tenants, guarantors and letting agents, where necessary, with the aim of reaching a resolution to the claim that is suitable for all parties, all within our agreed service levels

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in the lettings industry or within an insurance environment
