Intelligence Analyst

Summary

The job is for an entry-level analyst position in the Intelligence Community requiring a TOP SECRET clearance and preferably a Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Government Affairs or International Affairs. The role involves performing research and analysis on national security matters, facilitating information exchange, briefing personnel, and supporting audit preparation and policy development.

Requirements

• A TOP SECRET CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED
• Ideally, You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):. Bachelor's degree; Political Science, Government Affairs or International Affairs preferred but not required OR four (4) years of experience in the IC community and/or law enforcement experience

Responsibilities

• Perform all source and open source research and analysis on matters of national security to support ongoing investigations and intelligence collection
• Exploit data from specific sources and raw intelligence, and compile them to validate intelligence collection requirements
• Help to facilitate the exchange of information between government agencies
• Brief personnel on various national security programs and procedures
• Disseminate information, work directly with agents and analysts to facilitate intelligence collection on specific threats to national security
• Work closely with government personnel to support audit preparation and assist in the development of agency and unit/program policy

Preferred Qualifications

• Desire to work as an Analyst in the IC
• US Citizen
• Interest in national security, cyber crimes, international studies, counterintelligence or similar areas preferred but not required
