Intermediate Platform Engineer

Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS, including provisioning, scaling, and optimizing infrastructure using AWS services such as EC2, ECS, EKS, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPCs
• Proficiency in using Terraform to manage infrastructure as code, including writing modular, reusable code that scales as the organization grows
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Spacelift or Github Actions to automate infrastructure deployments and updates. Languages like Python/Bash/Javascript are assets for constructing pipelines for automation needs
• Expertise in using monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog to track performance, identify bottlenecks, and ensure infrastructure reliability
• Experience in optimizing infrastructure costs by ensuring efficient resource allocation and leveraging cost-saving techniques like auto-scaling, spot instances, or serverless architecture

Benefits

• Minimum annual salary of $95,100
• Maximum annual salary of $142,600
• Salary range is quite large to account for growth in the role throughout time at Jane
