Intermediate QA Automation Engineer

Summary

Join Tripadvisor's QA team as an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong Java skills. You will develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Appium, execute automated test suites, and analyze results to ensure product quality. Collaborate with development and product teams to identify areas for automation, prioritize them, and ensure quality standards are met. Identify and report defects, working with the development team to resolve issues. Maintain documentation related to automation tests and processes, and continuously improve the automation framework for efficiency and effectiveness. This position offers the flexibility of being office, hybrid, or remote-based within Croatia.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
• At least 3 years of experience in QA Automation testing
• Strong programming skills in Java
• Experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium or Appium
• Experience in web and/or mobile application testing
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
