Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in quantity surveying, specifically within the construction sector
• Proficient in cost estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently
• Knowledge of construction contracts (ECC, NEC, JBCC, etc.) and standards
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects
• Manage and analyze project costs and financial forecasts
• Evaluate subcontractor quotations and monitor changes in the work scope
• Assist in the preparation and negotiation of contract agreements and final accounts
• Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations and regulations
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure project timelines and milestones are met
• Provide detailed reports on budgeting, expenditures, and forecasts for effective decision-making
