Summary

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a software developer
• Strong understanding of development best practices, modern technologies, and design patterns
• Experienced in BE languages (i.e. Ruby on Rails, Java, C#, Python) or TypeScript
• Experience with modern frontend framework (React, Vue, Angular, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the Jane codebase, focusing on payroll and compensation related workflows
• Implement changes and experiments across the stack (frontend and backend)
• Collaborate with engineers, technical leaders and cross-functional groups to ship impactful features
• Produce high-quality, well-tested code that ensures a reliable product for our users
• Make effective tradeoffs that consider business priorities, user experience, and a sustainable technical foundation
• Participate in code reviews, production deploys, and team activities to support continuous improvement and collaboration

Benefits

Compensation range of $90,000 - $135,000 with a focus on paying for growth
