Intermediate Test Engineer Automation

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in test automation
• 2+ years of commercial experience with GoLang
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC
• Solid grasp of OOP principles
• Strong expertise in QA and test automation best practices
• Hands-on experience with REST API testing (GraphQL, Postman)
• Practical experience with databases ( Cosmos DB, PostgresSQL, DynamoDb, etc.)
• Practical experience with Cloud providers
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Upper-Intermediate English level
• Proactivity, autonomy, strong decision-making skills, attention to detail

Responsibilities

• In this role, you’ll focus on automating tests for cloud services and infrastructure, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployments and improvements in existing testing processes
• Write and maintain integration tests for cloud-based services
• Automate cloud infrastructure testing to ensure smooth updates
• Verify new releases and ensure seamless deployments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine testing processes and proactively suggest improvements to tools and workflows
• Participate in planning, designing, and creating test suites according to BDD practices
• Conduct code reviews to ensure test quality and consistency
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate on fixes
• Document test cases, results, and identified bugs
• Stay up to date with the latest tools and best practices in test automation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Azure DevOps
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes
• Familiarity with BDD practices
• Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) or restaurant domain
