Intern Data Scientist

Summary

Requirements

• Currently in the final year of a Bachelor's or Master's degree or recently completed a degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline
• Basic proficiency in Python and familiarity with Jupyter notebooks
• Understanding of fundamental statistical concepts and methods
• Familiarity with basic machine learning algorithms, such as linear regression and decision trees
• Ability to work with structured data and perform data cleaning and preprocessing
• Basic understanding of SQL for database querying

Responsibilities

Assist in the design and development of custom solutions that fulfil business and client needs

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with data visualisation tools such as Matplotlib or Seaborn
• Exposure to machine learning frameworks like scikit-learn
• Basic knowledge of natural language processing or computer vision concepts
• Familiarity with Git and version control
