Intern Software Engineer

Summary

Requirements

• Ability to develop software in C#, VB.NET or other programming languages
• Knowledge of relational databases
• Flexible during times of change, and deadline proximities
• Ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense
• Excellent written and oral communication skills both in Spanish and English

• Knowledge of programming languages, including C#, VB.NET , TSQL and web development
• Appropriate use of technologies and tools available for the company based on product, project, or solution needs
• Ability to perform detailed data analysis (i.e., determine the structure, content, and quality of the data through examination of source systems and data samples)
• Applied knowledge of object-oriented design principals and implementation
• Responsible for Granicus information security by appropriately preserving the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA) of Granicus information assets in accordance with the company's information security program
• Responsible for ensuring the data privacy of our employees and customers, their data, as well as taking all required privacy training in a timely manner, in accordance with company policies

Responsibilities

• Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Write well-designed, testable code
• Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
• Document and maintain software functionality
• Troubleshoot , debug, and upgrade existing systems
• Deploy programs and evaluate user feedback
• Comply with project plans and industry standards
• Ensure the software is updated with the latest features
• Perform the necessary database design work to meet software development requirements
• Create or review technical design documentation to ensure the accurate development of solutions
• Develop products, modules, or custom applications according to quality standards
• Ensure product/project quality through validation of requirements prior to turnover to the customer
• Perform other tasks related to organization or customer activities, as assigned by Supervisor
