Summary

Join our team as an Interoperability Specialist and contribute to the advanced design, implementation, support, and maintenance of customer interoperability solutions. You will collaborate with customers and internal/external teams, leveraging your advanced troubleshooting skills and knowledge of our products and platforms. This role demands effective prioritization and strong relationships with customers and internal groups. The position requires expertise in SQL, experience with complex applications and networking, and familiarity with healthcare interface standards. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential for success in this fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Possess strong SQL knowledge and abilities (MS SQL 2008/2008R2/2012 and up), T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Database Maintenance and Management
  • Have experience working with complex applications and networking solutions
  • Have some experience in programming/scripting or requirements gathering for other software developers, dependent on project scope
  • Demonstrate familiarity with healthcare interface standards (HL7, DICOM, etc.)
  • Have experience with message brokering engines such as Mirth, Ensemble, Corepoint and other HL7 based messaging systems
  • Possess strong Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving skills
  • Have good communication skills
  • Be able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Communicate, cooperate, and consistently function professionally and harmoniously with all levels of supervision, co-workers, patients, visitors, and vendors
  • Demonstrate initiative, personal awareness, professionalism and integrity, and exercise confidentiality in all areas of performance
  • Follow all local, state and federal laws concerning employment to include but not limited to: I-9, Harassment, EEOC, Civil rights and ADA
  • Follow OSHA regulations, RadNet and site protocols, policies and procedures

  • Adapt and be willing to learn new tasks, methods, and systems
  • Report to work regularly as scheduled; consistently punctual with respect to working hours, meal and rest breaks, and maintain satisfactory personal attendance in accordance with RadNet guidelines
  • Consistently adhere to the time management policies and procedures
  • Complete job responsibilities in a quality and timely manner

Responsibilities

  • Work with various team members to design, implement, and support custom solutions for customers, generally involving communication between RIS/PACS/RADAR or supporting infrastructure/applications and third-party applications
  • Work with the Interoperability Lead to determine what a project requires for the customer’s specific workflow
  • Work assigned projects as directed and provide constant input into project scope, requirements, resources, and timelines for delivery
  • Transfer knowledge from Development teams on technical solutions to all teams as needed
