Investment Banking Summer Analyst

Summary

The job is a 10-week summer analyst position in Investment Banking at D.A. Davidson & Co. The role involves assisting deal teams with mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, private placements, and other advisory services.

Requirements

• Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business majors
• Minimum 3.5 GPA
• Junior in college
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Self-motivated with a strong desire to excel in a challenging field
• Working knowledge of business software (especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• General level of financial knowledge and interest
• Good judgment in confidential situations and ability to exercise discretion when handling confidential information
• Teamwork skills and strong work ethic
• Flexibility to work long hours, nights, and weekends, as needed for workflow

Responsibilities

• Research and provide presentation / research material for pitch books, memorandums, presentations and other projects
• Develop financial modules to analyze a wide variety of client-specific projects
• Collaborate with an industry team from peer analysts to managing directors
• Work on various projects to support client relations
• Support business development activities of senior investment bankers
• Monitor and update contact/deal database as needed for specific deal teams
• Assist deal teams with other necessary day to day responsibilities

Benefits

• Paid on a bi-weekly basis at an annualized salary rate of $66,560
