Summary

You will be responsible for assessing the financial goals and needs of members and team members, developing personalized investment strategies, and providing exceptional service. This role requires strong communication, sales, and analytical skills, along with a deep understanding of investment products and services. You will also be responsible for marketing and supporting assigned investment products, identifying and developing relationships with wholesalers, and referring members to appropriate advisors when necessary. Requirements
- Must possess basic investment knowledge
- Ability to follow the rules and regulations set forth by the credit union, FINRA, SEC and the broker/dealer
- Exceptional service and sales skills, ability to independently utilize judgment, and make sound business decisions
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing, with strong presentation skills utilizing video and phone
- Ability to critically think, analyze situations, and problem solve
- Ability to distinguish and manage confidential information, materials, and conversations
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships in a diverse environment
- Ability to operate a personal computer and software including word processing, email, intra/internet
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, sit, walk, twist, and turn
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Ability to use a computer keyboard and calculator
- Work environment is indoors; majority of the time is spent sitting at a desk
- FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 required
- Ability to obtain a Series 66 or 65
- State Life and Health Insurances licenses required
Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate Member and team member needs for financial services, assess the objectives and goals of the individual, and develop an investment strategy to implement
- Proactively market and support all aspects assigned
- Identify and develop relationships with Wholesalers
- Keep current on investment products and services offered
- Identify and refer Members requiring in-person or more complex services to the appropriate Advisors
- Follow through on the service and sales goals set forth by the Investment Program
- Provide regular feedback to the branch team members, identified credit union executives and sales managers regarding sales practices and business development initiatives
- Provide excellent Member service
- Periodically virtually meets with Members and/or clients to review and update needs ensuring investment objectives and goals are progressing according to plan. Meetings to take place either monthly, quarterly and/or yearly depending on client needs established by Representative
- Ensure inbound phone calls, orders/transactions, and service that requires licensing is completed
- Provide basic financial planning for Members virtually, as needed
- Address and solve business-related challenges as needed
- Work with Financial Center Managers to identify and leverage cross-sell opportunities
- Support investment and credit union integration initiatives, e.g., deposit calling efforts, call nights, branch training, etc
- Support all product and campaign launches
- Represent the firm in relationships with major clients, industry organizations, regulatory bodies, and other key outside parties
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working in credit union or community bank preferred
