Summary

Join Abercrombie & Fitch as an iOS Engineer and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of their iOS apps. You will be involved in the entire app lifecycle, from concept to post-launch support, and collaborate with various teams. This role requires strong iOS development skills, experience with Swift and Objective-C, and a solid understanding of object-oriented design. Requirements

• BA/BS Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field, or combined skills/experience and education
• 1-2 years’ experience with Swift, Objective C and iOS SDKs
• Strong foundation in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, complexity analysis, and debugging
• Experience in designing/developing performant iOS applications
• Experience with web service integration (REST, JSON)
• Experience of development using web technologies (WKWebView, CSS, Javascript)
• Experience integrating with third-party libraries and APIs
• Experience integrating with third-party analytics platforms (e.g. Adobe Omniture, Google Analytics, Tealium etc.)
• Experience with Push Notifications including Rich Media
• Experience using version control (e.g., Git, Git Flow)
• Familiarity with implementing iOS Accessibility Guidelines (e.g. VoiceOver)
• Familiarity with Agile development and works well in a large cross-functional team

Responsibilities

• Act as iOS developer on Abercrombie and Hollister iOS apps and SDK
• Deliver across the entire app life cycle – concept, design, build, deploy, test, release to app stores, and support
• Collaborate with internal and external teams - Product Managers, Engineers, Designers, and Marketers to conceptualize, build, test, and realize new features
• Follow established coding standards and best practices, including paradigms optimizing the apps for performance
• Collaborate with other development teams (API, Android, Web) on architectural vision and roadmap
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
• Keep up to date on the latest industry trends in mobile technologies
