iOS Engineer

Summary

The job description is for an iOS Engineer role at Vaporstream, focusing on the development of their secure messaging app. The team works remotely and follows Agile methodologies.

Requirements

• 2+ Years experience developing apps using Xcode and the iOS SDK
• Experience with Swift and Objective-C
• Intermediate knowledge of iOS, as well as common architectural patterns of the platform
• Knowledge of RESTful Web-Services, websocket communication, JSON, networking protocols and best practices for promoting leading application performance
• Experience using SQLite databases
• Experience signing and deploying iOS applications to the App Store
• Experience with MVC architecture in Cocoa applications. MVVM in iOS is a plus
• Experience working in cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

Work in an Agile team to build new features and improve existing functionality of the iOS mobile app
