IT Audit Manager

Summary

Reporting to the Sr. Audit Director, you will lead and execute IT audit engagements, evaluating the effectiveness of IT controls and processes. This permanent, home-based role in Costa Rica requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and a professional certification like CISA or CISSP, along with at least 3 years of relevant experience. You will assess IT risks, develop audit programs, prepare reports, and collaborate with IT partners. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field
• Professional certification such as CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT auditing, risk management, or related fields
• Experience with IT controls, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements
• Experience analyzing data and solving complex issues
• Experience with audit tools and softwares

Responsibilities

• Lead IT audit engagements, including planning, execution, and reporting
• Assess the effectiveness of IT controls and systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
• Evaluate IT risks and provide recommendations for mitigating those risks
• Collaborate with IT and partners to understand and assess IT-related risks and controls
• Develop IT audit programs and procedures
• Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to senior management
• Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and follow up on corrective actions
• Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in IT auditing
