It Director - Mobile Device Management Engineer

Summary

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Mobile Device Management, specifically with Jamf Pro
• Strong knowledge of Apple ecosystem, including iOS, iPadOS, and macOS device management
• Experience with React.js for front-end development
• Scripting experience with Bash, Python, or AppleScript for automation
• Familiarity with Apple Business Manager (ABM) and Apple School Manager (ASM)
• Understanding of Zero-Touch Deployment, security policies, and compliance standards
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for handling user complaints

Responsibilities

• Manage, deploy, and optimize Apple devices (iPhones, iPads, and Macs) using Jamf Pro and other MDM solutions
• Ensure compliance with security policies, enforce configurations, and deploy updates seamlessly
• Diagnose and resolve user complaints related to mobile device performance, connectivity, and software issues
• Develop and maintain automation scripts (e.g., Bash, Python, AppleScript) to streamline MDM workflows
• Build and maintain internal tools using React for managing Apple device configurations, reporting, and self-service solutions
• Work closely with IT, Security, and Engineering teams to optimize Apple device usage and improve end-user experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Swift or Node.js
• Familiarity with Intune, Workspace ONE, or other MDM solutions
• Knowledge of networking, VPNs, and security configurations for iOS/macOS
