Summary

AffiniPay, a leading fintech company based in Austin, Texas, is seeking an IT Product Manager to own the Information Systems product roadmap, partner with IT Leadership team, lead requirements gathering process, work cross-functionally throughout the organization, analyze and prioritize projects, identify deliverables, communicate roadmaps, define success criteria, and collect stakeholder feedback.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management or other related field
  • 3+ years of experience leading projects/product launches related to internal business systems
  • Experience with roadmaps for go-to-market, cloud integration systems, and business intelligence/data analytics systems
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, specifically AWS and/or Azure, and their related infrastructure, environments, and services
  • Proficiency in coordinating large IT projects with dependencies on other teams while ensuring adherence to timelines and achieving successful outcomes
  • Strong problem-solving skills, complemented by experience in analytical planning and strategy
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, particularly in cross-cultural collaborative settings
  • Excellent facilitation skills with ability to inspire change at higher levels
  • Demonstrated ability to translate model business processes and convert requirements into business applications
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a high degree of proficiency
  • Self starter, motivated to drive success of project team
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the IT Leadership team to develop the Information Systems Team roadmap including the tools that need to be built, implemented or integrated within our existing systems
  • Lead the requirements gathering process, working closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, determine fit, and timeline for the roadmap
  • Work cross functionally throughout the organization to understand system needs and then develop, get alignment, and communicate the roadmap to key stakeholders and internal customers
  • Analyze and prioritize projects based on customer needs, business value, and technical feasibility
  • Identify deliverables by functional group, with clear priorities and target timelines
  • Clearly identify various functional touch points, hand-offs, dependencies and risks
  • Work with the IT team to set and manage priorities and set a cadence of consistent status updates to the key stakeholders
  • Facilitate important metric definition, document data requirements and reporting needs
  • Define Success criteria and monitor/track
  • Incorporate Business Intelligence/Data Analytics, KPI tracking and reporting
  • Keep the SVP, Information Systems updated on key dates and deliverables and escalate decision making, changes as needed
  • Regularly collect stakeholder feedback, with focus on team and process optimization, consistencies, efficiencies and enable continuous improvement

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior Business Analyst experience
  • Technology, payments, accounting, legal industry knowledge
