IT Programmer

Requirements

• Experience as a programmer
• Proficiency in COBOL/CICS/DB2/JCL

Responsibilities

• Review programs written in COBOL/CICS/DB2/JCL
• Design, document, develop and deploy code to production in a timely fashion
• Analyze business needs and convert them into technical requirements
• Develop and deploy code
• Collaborate with testing and business teams to test the new functionality
• Work with, communicate and collaborate with peers, management, business partners, staff, and other vendors
• Exercise initiative, produce desired results and achieve objectives
• Effectively plan and organize
• Multitask and support project work

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Tax system
• FIS ALLTEL/SYSTEMATICS application knowledge (TX, IM, ST, AM, RM, SC, HX and GN)
• ITSM (Incident, Release, Change)
• Serena ChangeMan Deployment tool
• IBM OnDemand Admin or working knowledge
• GoAnywhere working knowledge
