IT Project Management Analyst

Summary

Join Cologix as a motivated IT Project Management/Analyst Intern this summer! This hands-on internship provides valuable experience in managing infrastructure projects. You will work closely with Program and Project Managers, gaining practical skills in IT project delivery. The 12-week internship (up to 20 hours/week) runs from approximately June 10th to August 30th. You'll assist with inventory management, monitor cases, capture project information, update project boards, create tasks, enter updates, generate status reports, and contribute to technical documentation. This internship is ideal for a rising junior or senior pursuing a degree in a related field.

Requirements

• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
• Logical, progressive thought process
• Proactive and self-motivated, ability to work remotely
• Basic to intermediate understanding of enterprise technology – not configuration/hands on experience but grasping what functions that technology serves in a corporate enterprise
• Networks, server, storage, cloud technology, etc
• Good skills in Microsoft suite of tools – Word, PowerPoint and especially Excel
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Effective communication and writing skills
• Enthusiasm for learning and taking on new challenges
• Must be currently enrolled in a degree program from an accredited college / university as a rising junior / senior

Responsibilities

• Assist with inventory management of enterprise hardware
• Open and monitor cases to provide Operations staff and other team members direction to complete required tasks
• Capture information from project working sessions – decisions that keep projects moving forward
• Update and manage Monday.com project boards
• Create time-bound tasks for team members to deliver
• Enter project updates
• Create status reports for IT management to use for communications to senior corporate management
• Create or revise technical process documentation
