IT Project Manager

Summary

Join our team as an experienced IT Project Manager to lead IT projects from initiation to completion. You will plan, organize, and manage our organization's information technology processes, developing and implementing strategies to meet business needs. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to manage resources, coordinate teams, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. You will utilize project management tools, conduct risk assessments, and maintain project timelines and budgets. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 5 years of IT project management experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in IT project management
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, agile methodologies, tools, and techniques
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Responsibilities

• Setting project goals and coming up with plans to meet those goals
• Maintaining project timeframes, budgeting estimates, and status reports
• Managing resources for projects, such as computer equipment and employees
• Coordinating project team members and developing schedules and individual responsibilities
• Implementing IT strategies that deliver projects on schedule and within budget
• Using project management tools to track project performance and schedule adherence
• Conducting risk assessments for projects
• Organizing meetings to discuss project goals and progress

Preferred Qualifications

PMP certification is a plus
