IT Specialist Intern

Requirements

• You are enrolled in a program related to Computer Sciences, Technology field, or equivalent
• Creativity/Innovation: Develop new and unique ways to improve operations of the organization and to create new opportunities
• Ability to understand complex business processes and communicate them effectively to others
• Excellent verbal and written communication & time management skills
• IT experience / understanding of network systems is an asset
• Excellent knowledge of Windows Operating systems is an asset
• Experience with Microsoft services is an asset (such as SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Power Apps, Power BI and Power Automate)

Responsibilities

• Work on IT and infrastructure projects vital to the growth of the company of varying level of complexity
• Support our network administration
• Provide IT Support via ticketing system and build out self-service portals/tools for recurring issues
• Troubleshoot end-user network, software, and hardware problems
• Create, modify and delete users accounts, groups, and accesses
• Coordinate with vendors to provide warranty services and to resolve technical issues
• Provide basic training for end-users with varying levels of computer knowledge to allow them to resolve similar problems in the future without helpdesk intervention
• Document resolutions and troubleshooting steps
• Participate in innovation projects and hackathons
