Summary
Join Maven Clinic's IT team as an IT Support Engineer in our New York City office. This 6-month contract position involves providing Level 1 technical support to internal users, triaging IT requests, and supporting various applications like Google Workspace, FreshService, and Okta. You will maintain IT inventory, assist with employee onboarding/offboarding, and support the office environment. The ideal candidate possesses 2+ years of first-level IT support experience, proficiency in Google Workspace and MacOS support, and strong troubleshooting skills. Requirements
- 2+ years of first level IT/helpdesk support experience
- Located in NYC area and willing to work full time in office (Maven work week)
- Experience using Google Workspaces products (Gmail, Google Docs, Sheets, etc) and administration
- MacOS support experience
- Experience with help desk support solutions such as FreshService
- Experience with deploying MacOS upgrades/updates
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Provide Level 1 technical support to our internal users
- Triage incoming IT requests, escalate tickets to Level 2, and monitor SLA policies
- Support products such as Google Workspace, FreshService, Okta, Slack, Zoom, Jira, and Jamf
- Maintain asset management of Macbooks and IT inventory
- Help with onboarding and offboarding employees and contractors with accounts, access, and assets
- Support Maven office environment including events, conference rooms, user stations, printers, and network
- Help with contractor lifecycle management
- Assist IT team with new and ongoing projects
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical education/degree, or equivalent working experience a plus
- Some experience with Jamf software and Apple device management
- Knowledge of Atlassian products such as Jira, Opsgenie, Jira Service Management
- Knowledge of security products and concepts (anti-malware, anti-spam, etc.)
