IT Technician

Requirements

• 2-3 years of direct experience (or equivalent training) work with Microsoft Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft 365
• Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues reported by employees in the local office
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently and complete routine service request procedures
• Strong work ethic and exceptionally high work standards
• Able to regularly lift up to 50lbs

Responsibilities

• Provide both remote and desk-side technical support and troubleshooting in response to assigned service requests submitted into the IT Service Desk ticketing system
• Perform new employee onboarding support including new equipment deployments and provisioning new account access
• Support the office electronic access system by provisioning new employee access badges and continually ensuring that all user access logs are kept up to date
• Support the Urban Grid IT Asset Management program including conducting planned asset replacements
• Support general office IT needs including maintaining and troubleshooting conference room AV equipment, office printers, etc
• Providing third party contactors access to various IT equipment as approved by the Director of IT
• Proactively identify emerging user issues and document relevant solutions in the IT Service Desk ticketing system
• Perform various shipping and receiving tasks both within the company and with external vendors
• Other duties assigned
