Summary

Amber Labs is seeking a highly skilled Java Developer to join their team as a remote employee within the UK. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in Java development and proficiency in various technologies such as Node.js, Java Spring, Python, C#, React, Typescript, Angular, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, Apache Cassandra, AWS, Kubernetes, Azure, Jenkins, Docker, Ansible, Terraform, and DevOps tools. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions for clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Significant experience with Java development
• Proficiency in backend technologies such as Node.js, Java Spring, Python, and C#
• Experience with frontend technologies such as React, Typescript, Angular, and JavaScript
• Knowledge of data technologies including PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, and Apache Cassandra
• Familiarity with DevOps tools such as AWS, Kubernetes, Azure, Jenkins, Docker, Ansible, and Terraform
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing high-quality software solutions using Java and related technologies
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Troubleshooting and debugging issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability
• Participating in code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency
• Keeping up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in software development

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Certifications in relevant technologies
