Summary

Join Amber Labs as a Java Developer (SC Cleared) in a remote location, working on back-end development with Spring Boot and collaborating with DevOps engineers.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot for back-end development
• Experience with AWS services (RDS, ECR, EC2)
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Helm for container orchestration
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Concourse (or Argo CD, Flex)
• Ability to work autonomously as a Software Engineer and contribute to DevOps initiatives

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain back-end systems using Java and Spring Boot
• Work with AWS technologies including RDS, ECR, and EC2
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes and Helm
• Utilize CI/CD tools like Concourse (or Argo CD, Flex) to automate build, test, and deployment pipelines
• Collaborate with DevOps engineers to support infrastructure as code and automation efforts
• Develop basic React applications to invoke and present back-end data
• Take ownership of tasks, working both independently and as part of a collaborative team
