Summary

The job is for a remote SDET role at an AWS partner company. The position requires 3+ years of Java development experience, 1+ years of API testing, 1+ years of Quality Assurance experience, 1+ years of UI testing tool experience, and SQL querying skills. Additional beneficial qualifications include AWS infrastructure and testing experience, knowledge of AWS components and architecture, performance testing experience, DevOps skills, Continuous Delivery best practices knowledge, and big data QA experience.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Java development
• 1+ years of experience with API testing
• 1+ years of experience in Quality Assurance roles with hands-on testing responsibilities
• 1+ years of experience working with modern UI testing tools such as Cypress, Playwright, etc
• Demonstrated hands-on experience writing basic SQL queries using joins and aggregate functions

Responsibilities

Contribute to large-scale, innovative projects. Focus on the testability, robustness, and performance of production software

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure and testing applications running on AWS
• Demonstrated knowledge of AWS components and architecture (preferably core services such as EC2, S3, RDS, etc.)
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with performance testing using industry standard tools such as Gatling
• Hands-on DevOps skills
• Knowledge of Continuous Delivery best practices
• Any big data QA experience
