Senior Software Engineer IV

Summary

Join OpenX Poland in Cracow as a Software Engineer IV and contribute to the development of our high-performance ad serving platform. You will work in an agile environment using various technologies like React, Python, Java, and Go. Collaborate with a full-stack team and the API Guild to design, build, and improve our systems. The role involves working on all aspects of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment. Requirements

• 5+ years of similar position working experience in Python
• Experience with database system design, RDBMs (MySQL, Postgres), or NoSQL
• Experience with one of the Cloud - GCP or AWS
• Experience in REST API or GraphQL

Responsibilities

• Design high-performance, distributed, low-latency systems
• Architect, create, and deliver new features and functionality
• Work with Product to drive the requirements, and own the project end-to-end
• Work with Engineering and Product teams distributed across multiple locations
• Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of servers and processes
• Think long-term and be unsatisfied with band-aids
• Identify unnecessary complexity and remove it, analyze existing solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with JavaScript
• Experience working in digital media, marketing technology, or advertising technology
