JavaScript Developer

Summary

Join Vattenfall, a European energy company committed to fossil-free living, as a JavaScript Developer in their Asset IT team. You will contribute to developing distributed, clean, and quality software with automated testing in a cloud environment. The role involves building and maintaining JavaScript code, working with portals, mobile apps, and PWAs, utilizing Azure Services and Azure DevOps, and ensuring product stability and security. The position is based in Katowice/Gliwice or remotely in Poland.

Requirements

• Solid experience in JavaScript
• Experience working with modern JavaScript Frameworks (React or Vue)
• Experience in writing modern JS Syntax
• Solid HTML, CSS skills
• Communicative level of English
• Some experience with Cloud Services (preferably Azure)

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain JavaScript code (write clear, maintainable code)
• Work with portals, mobile apps or PWA
• Work with Azure Services
• Work with Azure DevOps (Agile Board and CI/CD pipelines)
• Wireframe apps and features
• Ensure product stability and security

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in working with PWA Apps
• Hands-on experience in Azure Cloud (creating, monitoring, operating)
• Hands-on experience in Azure DevOps (Agile Board, CI/CD, WoW)
