Collaborate with the Technical Lead, system designers, and the product team to address the challenges of a rapidly growing design system. Implement and deliver high-quality components using JavaScript and React. Work as part of a pod, ensuring efficient development processes. Contribute to the design system's technical health and collaborate with other teams. Scope and plan development work, balancing speed with quality. This role requires proven experience as a JavaScript or Front-End Developer, expertise in modern JavaScript and frameworks, and a solid grasp of HTML, CSS, and accessibility best practices. Requirements

• Proven experience as a JavaScript or Front-End Developer, ideally at the senior level
• Expertise in modern JavaScript and frameworks such as React, Vue, or similar. (We use React + TypeScript)
• Solid grasp of HTML, CSS, and accessibility best practices
• Experience working with design systems and collaborating with product/design teams
• In-depth knowledge of UI/UX best practices, performance optimization, and accessibility
• A passion for clean, maintainable code and performance optimization
• A growth-oriented mindset—you embrace feedback, value collaboration, and love learning

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Technical Lead and other team members to plan and architect react components and interaction patterns, and contribute to design discussions and decisions
• Implement and deliver high-quality components and enhancements using JavaScript and React
• Work as part of a "pod," a small team of front-end developers and designers to ensure effective and efficient development processes
• Contribute to the technical health of the design system by adhering to engineering and UX best practices and participating in code reviews
• Collaborate and assist with developers from other teams, to play a supporting role in ensuring the design system is accomplishing product and developer needs
• Scope and plan development work, balancing speed with technical quality
