Summary

The job is for a seasoned Jenzabar ERP Administrator to manage and optimize the campus Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system in a dynamic IT team at client colleges and universities. The role requires extensive experience in managing Jenzabar ERP systems, proficiency in SQL, Windows or Linux operating systems, and strong communication skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in system administration with significant expertise in managing Jenzabar ERP systems (EX, CX, J1)
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, T-SQL, and database administration
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems, develop strategic solutions, and implement changes effectively
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

  • Administer, configure, and optimize Jenzabar ERP systems (EX, CX, J1), including managing system settings, user access, and security protocols
  • Conduct regular system updates and monitor and test backups, ensuring the smooth and secure operation of the ERP system
  • Regularly monitor system performance, and troubleshoot any issues that arise
  • Create, maintain, and disseminate detailed documentation and instructions for system configurations, operations, and troubleshooting procedures
  • Manage data migrations, refresh development servers with current production data (clones), and ensure the highest standards of data integrity and security
  • Respond promptly to service tickets and user queries, providing timely technical support and escalating complex issues as necessary
  • Architect, install, configure, and upgrade SQL Server and other relevant database technologies according to best practices and organizational guidelines
  • Customize and configure the ERP system to meet specific institutional needs approved by the CIO or designated governance bodies
  • Engage with various departmental teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot system issues, and implement solutions that streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to client System Administrators and CampusWorks team members

Preferred Qualifications

  • Leadership experience in managing technical projects, with a focus on enterprise application support
  • Experience in developing and executing strategic technology plans that align with institutional goals
