Summary
Achievers is hiring a Jr. Designer to support their Digital Delivery team in bringing creative ideas to life and seeing them through from concept to completion. The role involves collaborating with a Sr. Designer, maintaining a design system, and mentoring team members. A portfolio, bachelor's degree or college diploma, 2-3 years of work experience, strong conceptual ability, and proficiency in various design software are required.
Requirements
- A portfolio of past design work
- Bachelor degree or college diploma in Art/ Design or related
- 2-3 years of work experience
- Strong conceptual ability β experience working on marketing materials and campaigns
- Ability to support Sr. Designer in transforming creativity and passion for ideas, innovation and technology into solutions rooted in strategy/data
- Strong design craftsmanship and a keen eye for detailβ experience working on variety of media with a heavy focus on web design
- Experience working with a copywriter, developers, and strategist, UX a must
- Team player with a knack for collaboration and willingness to learn!
- Strong communication skills and comfortable with presenting to groups
- Proficiency in Adobe PhotoShop, Illustrator, Sketch, InDesign, Figma, and other design software
Responsibilities
- Support Sr. Designer landing pages, brand assets, ads and other marketing materials
- Support Sr. Designer in executing all visual design stages from concept ideation to final hand-off
- Work directly with developers to deploy designs where needed
- Support Sr. Designer in maintaining a Design System/library of assets and organization of project files
- Collaborate with UX lead to gain understanding of wireframes, user journey flow mapping
- Support Sr. Designer with preparation to finalize assets for both internal and stakeholder reviews
- Maintain best practices and industry standards as they correlate to all design initiatives
- Provide quality assurance of all creative deliverables, with alignment to project briefs and stakeholder objectives
- Mentor and coach team members through project development and performance management
- Collaborate, Build and maintain a rapport with stakeholders and team members
- Receive feedback from other designers and team members to make improvements
- Contribute to the innovative development creative assets and output
- Organizes, prioritizes and manages multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
