Junior Accounts Payable Specialist

Summary

Join KOSTAL Group, a global leader in solar and automotive solutions, as they establish their first Hungarian business service center. This fully remote role, with occasional office presence in Budapest, offers the chance to build and stabilize accounts payable processes transitioned from European entities. You will support daily operations, including invoice processing and payment, while identifying and resolving issues. The position requires a university degree, strong AP knowledge, and fluency in English. Requirements

• University or college degree
• Strong AP knowledge with at least 1-2 years finance operations role, ideally in SSC
• Good understanding of invoice processing and payment approval process
• Fluent in English (German is a plus)
• Good communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
• Proactive and outcome-focused attitude
• Self-motivation
• Have the eligibility to work in Hungary

Responsibilities

• Support the stabilization of accounts payable processes transitioned from European entities to Hungary
• Be involved in and support day-to-day operations in the following process areas: Invoice receipt
• Invoice verification and processing
• Outgoing payment processing
• Deliver ad-hoc AP tasks requested by team lead, AP SME
• Assist AP Closing and periodical activities
• Identify, evaluate and resolve issues (incl. process improvements), propose solutions for the AP specialist
• Be adherent to agreed service levels, policies and procedures as well as internal controls
• Support actions that all process manuals/relevant work instructions are created and updated on a regular basis

Preferred Qualifications

• Worked in multinational companies before
• Experience with process migrations is preferred
• Good Excel knowledge (basic formulas and pivots)
• Experience with SAP R3
• University or college degree, Finance is an advantage
• Experienced user of Excel (basic formulas and pivot)
• Experience in SAP
