Achievers is hiring a Software Engineer to join their team. The engineer will be responsible for creating and maintaining software documentation, collaborating with colleagues, using modern technologies, continuously integrating code, and shipping code daily. Qualifications include a degree in Computer Science or related field, 1+ years of relevant experience, and proficiency in web frameworks and server-side languages. Preferred qualifications include experience with accessibility tests, frontend technology, and microservices design. Requirements

• Bachelors in Computer Science or Masters in Computer Science or related field
• 1+ years of relevant experience
• Experience in web frameworks and server-side languages such as Python, PHP, and/or GoLang, etc
• NoSQL and SQL Database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL and/or MongoDB
• Interest in Microservices design / implementation and deployment in GCP
• Willingness to learn new emerging technologies and keep up with the latest frameworks and APIs
• Advanced/professional verbal and written English language skills

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain software documentation
• Work in a team by collaborating with your colleagues by actively participating in design/architecture discussions
• Live in GitHub creating pull requests, reviewing code, merging branches, and generally be a team player by seeking out and providing feedback
• Use the right tool for the job; we love modern technology and use things like REACT/REDUX, Python, Go, Kubernetes, Docker, Drone, Google PubSub, GraphQL, Microservices and MicroFrontend Architecture with GCP
• Continuously integrate clean, scalable, robust, testable code
• Ship code multiple times a day - yes, daily
• Work with other talented engineers and designers to prototype and test your ideas

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience incorporating accessibility tests into the development process
• Experience building digital products where compliance with accessibility standards is part of 'definition of done
• Experience with a frontend technology such as REACT
