Remote Junior Backend Engineer

As a Backend Engineer, you'll be part of the Asset Group, responsible for delivering out-of-the-box solutions, working with customers worldwide, and ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience as Backend Engineer
• Experienced with Python
• Experienced with Linux system
• Experience with a variety of technologies (such as Docker, MongoDB, cloud environments)
• Networking experience
• Fast learner, able to work independently and adapt quickly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Excellent English written and verbal communication
• Ability to be available and responsive to customers
• Based in Lisbon area and willing to come to the office once a month

Responsibilities

• Own features, modules and tools to deliver out-of-the-box solutions
• Build and create scalable solutions to handle extremely large data sets in real-time
• Working with Network & Cyber security products from leading vendors, such as Check Point, Cisco, PaloAlto, etc
• Understand and cater to the requirements and use-cases of Tier-1 customers and their security teams
• Ensure high customer satisfaction by designing, developing, and deploying our products
• Continually communicate with our customers around the world
• Our stack includes Python, Celery, MongoDB, Networking Protocols, Docker, Cloud environments, and more
