Junior Backend Engineer

Summary

The job is for a Backend Engineer at CleverTap, a global growth stage startup in the mobile technology space. The role involves designing, developing, testing, and deploying large-scale applications with JVM languages or other server-side technologies.

Requirements

• 2 to 4 years of experience in back-end development (Designing, developing, testing and deploying large scale applications with one of the JVM languages or other server side technologies)
• Strong organisational and time-management skills- Large capacity for attention to detail
• Ability to meet communicated deadlines and release project with minimal bugs- Good knowledge of data structure, OOPs concepts and Java

Responsibilities

• Write server side scripts, API’s to be utilised by front side engineers and also other microservices
• Optimise servers for speed and stability, implement security structures, generate reusable code libraries and generate data storage solutions
• Work directly with the product team to decide requirements, estimate delivery date for a particular feature, and document technical details for development

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on on Mongo DB, Redis and AWS
• Familiarity with front side platforms such Javascript, HTML5, CSS3 and Vue
• Prior knowledge of FCM and APNS services
